Each basket consists of three parts, an internal
ferrule manufactured so that the
ID is approximately 1/32 inch greater than the OD
of the water well casing for which it
is designed; a 10 oz. waterproof canvas cone; and
an exterior body with nine to fourteen fingers
for maximum flexibility.

One-eighth inch rivets with washers attach the canvas to
the fingers for full-scale holding power.
